The Pierre Hotel is a historical luxury hotel, originally opening in 1930. The hotel, and specifically the ballroom, have been featured in many movies and TV shows from as far back as 1956.
Island Acoustics contributed to their first renovation of this historical ballroom. Working hand in hand with designers and architects, we completed the renovation and upgrade of this ballroom with new sound dampening ceilings, custom wood doors with specialty hardware, and walls spanning 23 foot heights.
Our efforts aided in not only a successful project, but won the Prestigious 2023 McKim, Mead & White Award in architecture for the Ballroom category.
